  Cindy was horrible. We had to drive back to Kansas following my mother’s passing. We (and the funeral home) had asked that my mother be placed in her final resting place on Thursday. We were told that would not be possible as the cemetery mows the grass on Thursdays. After asking her several times we had no other option but to lay her to rest on Friday.
  We arrived on Friday morning at our scheduled time. We were already behind schedule for getting back to our jobs. We arrived at the cemetery on our way out of town. Cindy was horrible regarding the presence of my husband. He was with me as we were in the same car on our way out of town. Cindy demanded that he return to the car or pay her $500. Seriously??? My husband returned to the car which was within 25 feet of where my mother was being laid to rest. This was a moment that should have allowed for some reflection and prayer – not controversy!! That was the final memory that I will have while placing my mother in her final resting place. The entire incident did not need to happen. With the car being that close did it really constitute a $500 charge if his feet were on the ground versus in the car?????
  My mother lived in Temecula for 35 years. She paid taxes and worked in the community. She supported the local economy for many years. Due to health conditions, she was not able to stay in her home. Because of that we were charged $1500 “non-residential” fee. Then we were charged $1000 endowment fee’s. On top of that, Cindy wanted another $500 because my husband was present. Cindy does not possess the sympathy or empathy that is needed to deal with people who are mourning a loss in their lives.
  My hope is that this ridiculous “rule” be revisited so that other families may not have to endure the stress and abuse that we had to.
  On a final note, the 2 young men that assisted me after Cindy stormed off were very kind, sympathetic and very professional. I would like to thank them for their kindness.

  Beautiful open lot, very peaceful. I always enjoy my time seeing my mother in a nice quiet environment.
